Located on famed Wilshire Boulevard in the heart of Beverly Hills is the Damone Roberts salon, a mecca for 'the beautiful ones' to worship and practice the art of supreme beautification. They really create a gorgeous eye especially once the brows are groomed, it's a beautiful effect," says Roberts tempting me to make an appointment to extend my pitifully non-existent lashes on the spot. The salon also offers full body waxing services from legs to arms, chests, backs and -yes-, even Brazilians. Along with creating smooth, hair-free bodies, Damone Roberts salon provides one-on-one highly professional makeup applications. "We do makeup for all types of events, from birthday parties to weddings to the Oscars and beyond," says Roberts. The staff are highly trained artists who have skillfully mastered the Damone Roberts technique and can sculpt and define brows beautifully like their guide.

"I had never seen women of color being so glamorous and unashamedly so before," says Roberts. Ms. Ross' impact on Damone is so apparent he is wearing one of his many Diana Ross tees as we speak.
Aside from launching a mass market cosmetics line, a new salon is slated to open in New York and more opportunities for the pleasure of introducing his all natural approach to beauty to new women and men every single day. "With so many people going under the knife, I believe that beauty is going back to being simple and natural. It's about working with what you have rather than trying to erase it through surgery," says Roberts.
