CHiC: COCOACHiC selected Dress for Success as its Charitable Partner because of their focus on women's confidence and self-image. What inspired you to make an IMAN Cosmetics commitment to Dress for Success?
IMAN: I had the opportunity to speak at a Dress for Success event and was very impressed and moved by the women and the work that the organization does. In addition, I felt that the organization not only had an impact on the women they helped, but also would affect the lives of other women in their lives such as their daughters, sisters, friends, etc.
CHiC: What is the color philosophy behind the makeup selections and shades in the IMAN Beauty Success Kit?
IMAN: The idea was to provide a basic selection of products and shades that would suit a variety of skin tones and that would create a makeup look fit for a professional image.
CHiC: As a legendary beauty and cosmetics mogul, why do you believe Beauty is an element of Success? What are a few tips that will guarantee Beauty Success for any woman?
IMAN: Looking and feeling beautiful in their own skin helps give women confidence and helps to build self esteem. Taking care of your skin is the best beauty advice I can give to women of all ages. Always use a bronzer to keep a radiant complexion.
